Locomotive Rc6 1347 with the train IC 30 (Malmö Centralstation – Stockholm Centralstation) goes on the southern Swedish railway corridor (Södra stambanan, København (DK) – Malmö – Stockholm) near the town of Höör approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Malmö on May 22, 1997. The train covered its 614 km route with eight stops at intermediate stations in six and a half hours.
Four-axle electric locomotives of the Rc type for the 15 kV 16 2/3 Hz system were manufactured in the years 1967 – 1988 by the Swedish company ASEA in the number of 360 pieces in 6 versions. The Rc6 series is from 1982 to 1986, when 40 of these machines with an output of 3600 kW, a weight of 78 t and maximum speed of 160 km / h were produced. Another 60 pieces were reconstructed from the Rc5 series. The locomotives of the Rc6 series were marked with numbers 1323 – 1422.
